Good To Go Garages Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the website and services provided by Good To Go Garages. By using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Good To Go Garages offers a range of garage services, including but not limited to: emergency repairs, garage door installations, garage door opener services and garage door remote services. Our team of skilled professionals are dedicated to providing you with the best possible customer service and workmanship. These Terms & Conditions apply to all goods and services supplied by Good To Go Garages. Use of our website and/or payment of any deposit or part of the price is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. $0 Call Out Fee

Our customers will never be charged for us to simply come out to a job, without completing any work. An example may be when we need to come out and quote a job in person. Another example of this may be when a customer calls us out to a faulty door, only to discover when we arrive that the issue has resolved itself. Good To Go Garages' $0 call out fee does not mean we will ever complete work for free.

3. Payment and Fees

All fees for our services are due upon completion of that item on our quote/invoice, including in cases when there is still an item due to be completed. We accept various payment methods, including cash, credit cards, debit cards and Apple Pay. Additional charges apply for after-hours, weekends, public holidays or emergency services.

All parts remain the property of Good To Go Garages until invoices are paid in full, and we reserve the right to uninstall any parts not paid for in full as well as withhold any further services or warranties. We may also register our interest under the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth) to protect our rights to the Goods until full payment is received.

All invoices remaining unpaid 1 week after the completion of the job will incur a $250 late payment fee and begin to accrue 10% per annum interest unless otherwise agreed to in writing prior.

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing prior, all invoices remaining unpaid 4 weeks after the completion of the job will be referred to NCAT or a debt recovery agency. The customer will be liable for an additional $500 administration fee, along with all legal costs.

4. Deposits

We require a 60% deposit for all installation jobs, with up to 75% required for larger or more complex jobs. The remaining balance is the due the day the job is completed. If you are unable to pay the remaining balance promptly after completion of the job, we require full payment upfront.

5. Warranty and Liability

Manufacturer warranties on new door and motor installations differ between manufacturers but generally range between 2-10 years depending on the product. Manufacturers generally require doors to be serviced once in the first 18 months, and then every 12-24 months periodically to maintain warranties. You must show proof of these services whenever claiming this warranty. We encourage you to check each manufacturer's specific terms and conditions surrounding warranties.

Good To Go Garages guarantees that all installation work is completed professionally. We guarantee any defects or errors in our installation process will be rectified free of charge for the life of the product.

Good To Go Garages guarantees our repair work for a period of 90 days from the date of the service. This warranty covers any defects in workmanship and does not cover damages resulting from misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear, or for any separate issues happening within this time frame. In the event of a claim under this warranty, our liability is limited to repairing or replacing the defective workmanship at our discretion.

Good To Go Garages' warranty is not valid in the event a component or part not installed by us fails in any way, potentially causing damage to other parts of the door.

Good To Go Garages is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to property damage or personal injury, arising from the use of our services. Our liability for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount paid for the services provided.

Good To Go Garages is committed to solving any and all issues fairly with all of our customers.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. We will only collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found on our website. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which we are located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the state where we are located.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Use of our services constitutes agreement to our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our website or services following any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to periodically review these Terms to stay informed about any changes.

10. Invoicing and Identity Verification

Unfortunately, there have been instances of customers mistakenly identifying other companies as Good To Go Garages. To ensure clarity and avoid confusion, our technicians will always provide an invoice upon completion of the work. This invoice will include the Good To Go Garages letterhead, clearly identifying our company as the service provider.

We kindly request that customers verify the identity of our technicians by checking the provided invoice and confirming that it bears the Good To Go Garages letterhead. This verification process helps protect both our customers and our company from any misunderstandings or misrepresentations.

11. Manufacturer Delays

Whilst we endeavour to give the most accurate estimated installation dates as possible, please note that manufacturer delays, which are out of our hands, can occur at times and may affect these dates. These manufacturer delays can be due to machine breakdowns, shortages in certain materials, or otherwise. We will always endeavour to do everything we can to accommodate customers and expedite delays wherever possible.

12. Manufacturer Imperfections or Damage

Please note that in 5% of cases the manufacturers deliver a door to us that has damage such as a dent in an area of the door. This damage can be caused by forklifts during the storage or delivery packing process, or during transportation to suppliers. Good To Go Garages can only discover these damages upon unpacking the door during the installation process. We must then take evidence of the damage back to the manufacturers and apply to have doors or panels replaced or otherwise. In these situations Good To Go Garages will always endeavour to solve the issue as promptly and fairly as possible. Please note that if there are any issues with your door after installation, we will require half (50%) of the remaining outstanding balance to be paid, with the remaining half (50%) due once the issue is rectified.

13. New Garage Door Installation

Please note that arrival times for booked installations can vary depending on complexity of previous bookings, along with road conditions, supplier delivery and other factors.

For new builds specifically, we do not take any responsibility where our initial measurements were accurate, but the build was not done to plan, therefore creating issues. The most common example of this would be that the floor is not built level, meaning that there are gaps at the bottom of the door. We will endeavour to find solutions to these situations, likely at additional costs to the customer.

14. Cancellation Fee

For new installations, please ensure that the area in and around your garage is clear, allowing ample space for our installers to work. If the area is not clear for our installers when they arrive for a booking will unfortunately have to reschedule and charge an additional $300 fee to compensate our installers.

A $300 fee also applies to installation cancellations made without 24 hours notice. We will make sure to remind you of this when we book your installation. A $200 fee applies to repair booking cancellations with less than 1 hours notice. We will of course consider waving this fee under extenuating circumstances.

15. Quotes

Please note that quotes for garage door servicing are exclusive of any parts that may need replacing. You will always be quoted before any additional costs are incurred for additional work.

16. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee

We take pride in our workmanship and aim for every customer to be completely satisfied with the job done. If you are not happy with any aspect of our service, please let us know within a reasonable time so that we can address your concerns.

We will work with you promptly and in good faith to resolve any legitimate issues until you are reasonably satisfied. This may include a repair, adjustment, or other reasonable remedy consistent with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our guarantee does not entitle customers to unlimited refunds or replacements for matters of subjective preference, or where the work has been performed with due care, skill, and in accordance with the agreed scope of works.
